About mybrafit

An independent resource helping women find their true bra size — in 18 languages, with the modern (no “+4”) measuring method bra fitters use today.

Our mission

Studies estimate 70–80% of women wear the wrong bra size. Most of them are using outdated calculators that still apply the 1930s “+4 inches” rule, which gives a band several sizes too loose for modern stretch fabrics. The result: bras that ride up, dig into shoulders, and never feel right.

mybrafit exists to fix that. We provide accurate, fitter-approved sizing tools and clear, jargon-free guides — for free, in your language, without selling you anything.

What makes us different

  • Modern method only. We never use the +4 rule. Our calculators measure your actual under-bust and divide the bust-minus-band difference into one-inch cup increments — the same approach professional bra fitters use.
  • Six size systems. Every result is converted between US, UK, EU, India, Japan and Australia automatically.
  • 18 languages. Native-quality content in English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Italian, Dutch, Polish, Russian, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Indonesian, Vietnamese, Thai, Arabic, Hindi and Turkish.
  • Privacy first. Your measurements never leave your browser. We do not store them. No signup, no email required.
  • Independent. We do not manufacture or sell bras. We are not owned by any lingerie retailer. Our brand notes are based on published charts and fitter consensus, not on commission rates.

Our editorial approach

Sizing content is reviewed by the mybrafit editorial team, drawing on published guidance from professional bra fitters, brand size charts, and well-established fit communities such as the bra-fitting subreddit and abrathatfits methodology. We update guides whenever brand sizing changes or new research becomes available.

Where our recommendations differ from a brand's own marketing (for example, when a brand's bands are known to run loose), we say so plainly. Our goal is your fit, not anyone's sales target.

How we are funded

mybrafit is funded through optional affiliate links to retailers and limited, non-tracking display advertising. We do not accept payment for editorial coverage. No brand has ever been promoted in our calculator results because of a commercial relationship.
