Hand-wash is best
Fill a basin with cool water and a teaspoon of delicate detergent. Swish the bra gently for 30 seconds. Rinse twice. Press water out โ never wring.
Machine-wash if you must
Always use a mesh lingerie bag, cold water, gentle cycle. Hook the bra closed first to prevent snags. Skip fabric softener โ it coats elastane and reduces stretch.
Never tumble-dry
Heat is the enemy of elastane. A single tumble-dry cycle can age a bra by 6 months. Always air-dry flat or hang from the centre gore.
